The famous singer Rihanna is now the official voice of Nivea. The well-known cosmetic brand sponsors Rihanna’s concerts, and in her turn, Rihanna has even taken off her clothes to show respect for the 100-year anniversary of the brand.

The Nivea brand is going to celebrate its centennial in May. Global activities and wide celebration of the date are planned. New Givenchy Fragrance Le Bouquet Absolu For women


Le Bouquet Absolu is a women fragrance released in 2011 by the famous Givenchy fashion house. The odor seems to be an attractive composition of the notes of blooming garden that combines glamour and romance.

Christopher Brosius has been creating a collection of unusual smells for almost twenty years. One of his first fragrances was the Library, the smell of the library. And in 2004, his own line of fragrances “CB: I Hate Perfume” apperared.

One of the first Christopher’s breakthroughs was the ‘Dirt’ fragrance. In this bottle, there were the author’s reminiscences and memories about the beds of vegetables, about growing herbs and flowers on the family farm in Pennsylvania.

Another milestone was the “Snow” fragrance which had won in its time so many prestigious perfume awards.

Christopher himself says, “I hate perfume, it’s a lazy and tasteless concession to fashion. Too often they replace the real charm and style. A strong flavor is an arrogant slap in the face given by a man from across the room. People who smell the same, disturb me.”

Currently, the “CB: I Hate Perfume” collection has 36 fragrances, with the price ranging from $65 to $275 per vial (the volumes are from 2 to 150 ml).

What are those smells, after all? There are “Russia”, “Kitchen”, “Tea”, “Winter 1972″, “Memory”, and “Celebration” fragrances. And that is how, for example, the “November” smell track is described: pumpkin pie, fire, fallen apples, wood smoke, dry grass, fallen leaves, wet twigs, damp moss, chanterelles, and a pine forest in the distance.

Answering the journalist’s question about describing his work in two or three words, Christopher replied that he created a “smell life”.

Dior Spring 2011 Makeup Products


Premieres of spring and summer collections of Dior makeup are accompanied by significant changes. Dior has new faces, a new approach towards commercials, as well as new and interesting products.

When creating Fall 2011 Burberry Prorsum collection, designer Christopher Bailey kept in mind two main ideas: a woman should look as natural as can be and elegantly and inconspicuously retro. When Wendy Rowe and Neil Moodie set to work they discovered that he succeeded but brilliantly.

Bailey had drawn his inspiration for the collection from Jean Shrimpton, the 60s greatest supermodel and the icon of Swinging London. A unique way to care of your skin and hair resulted, as reported by Rowe and Moodie.

Rowe used Burberry Glow Foundation to get the models’ skin to shimmer and accentuated the cheekbones with just a touch of Light Glow Natural Blush in Earthy – the treatment she referred to as “effortless”. Then she worked on the eyes with Sheer Eyeshadow in Antique Rose and Almond, added a coat or two of Effortless Mascara in Brown in the corners and underlined the eyes with it too. For the lips she chose Lip Mist #02 that makes the natural rosiness of the lips slightly more pronounced.

The first L’Oréal products which the star began to advertise were chosen from the line for hair straightening and smoothing. TV commercials appeared in January, 2011, and print advertisements with Jennifer will debut in February and March issues of gloss magazines.

The new printed advertisements display Lopez promoting L’Oréal Paris Infallible Le Rouge lipstick. A classic red shade of the lipstick was selected for the image of the actress and singer. Accentuated with smoky eyes, the celebrity’s face looks especially luxurious! Steel gray and silver shades are used in the inner corners of the eyes. Dita Von Teese, the famous burlesque star, singer, and actress, is going to produce her own perfume. The star’s partners in this project are the French, who have won worldwide recognition as the finest perfumers. Dita spoke about the details of the work on Twitter.

”Do not expect my smell to have fruit or flower motifs”, Dita Von Teese says. Such fragrances as Quelques Fleurs and Dior’s Passage No. 4 are among the celebrity’s favorites, and she uses them to focus on the search of her own composition.

The novelty must be waited for. Dita writes in her blog that the most optimistic plans of having the fragrance on sale would be Fall-2011 season. But most likely, the new fragrance will please the singer’s fans in early 2012.

The Italian Pupa brand presents six new fragrances which form the “Air de Fio” collection. New scents are inspired by the nature itself and are intended as a present for women who like modern floral arrangements.

Each of the six vials resembles a drop of rain with unique fragrance inside. The bottles are made of glass with metal lids and decorated with different flowers (various colors depending on the smell). The handmade flowers decorate the bottles.
