Eye Liner Stickers

Eye Liner Stickers
You may have repeatedly seen the stickers which help to make eye makeup in the style of smoky eyes. But now there have been produced the stickers that can make the eyeliner truly ideal and creative. Dior was among the first to offer this novelty.

In the season of Fall-2011 a special focus will be on the eyes. The Nude effect remains for the summer. And in the coming season, dramatic and even a little theatrical eye makeup will be fashionable.

In order to achieve artistic eye lining you will need certain skills, or a set of stickers, such as the one recently produced by Dior. It was created by the makeup artists of the brand. As a result of its application, you will have a smooth and rich in color eyeliner which can be adorned with Swarovski crystals if you wish.

A set of Dior stickers includes:
4 pairs of stickers: 2 pure black, one sticker with gray crystals, one sticker with white crystals, and glue.

How to apply shadow stickers:

  • They are for dry skin without makeup.
  • One should carefully unfasten the eye liner sticker from a silicone base.
  • Apply the sticker on the lash line. You can use a little glue to apply the sticker.
  • To remove the sticker one should just carefully remove it from the skin holding the sticker by the edge.
  • After use, place the sticker back on the silicone base. Thus it will not lose its properties, and it can be used again later.

Dior Eyeliner Stickers

In general, the use of stickers in makeup is likely to become a usual thing soon. Shadow stickers will probably no longer surprise anyone, as well as stickers for lips makeup. The technologies are different: imitating decals and temporary tattoo. But the idea is clear – to make various styles of makeup the most affordable ones.

Long Wear Eyeliner

Pleasure or precision? If you choose the latter, in future it may be a robot who will be doing your face. Want to get a feel of it? Here’s a futuristic ad from the makeup brand Nars intended to impress us with their new Larger than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner that is expected to be not less accurate than a laser.

The ad shows model Emily Baker, scantily clad in underwear and heels, yielding to highly technical ministrations of two robot arms on a surgical table. In a process resembling an operation or some engineering adjustment a mechanical arm picks up an eyeliner and proceeds to apply it.

A Fabien Baron direction, the ad is to inspire the watchers with “precision application” that promises a “striking impact.”

Nars claims the Larger than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner is good for 12 hours wear free from caking and smearing. It comes in nine shades bearing the names of famous streets all over the globe, like a deep plum Bourbon Street or a royal blue Rue Saint Honore. The robot-precise eye pencil retails for $23.

Maintain Eye Health When Using Eyeliner

Red eyes, damaged eyelids, dryness and irritation. Are you familiar with these feelings in your eyes after partying and heavy use of makeup? If so then here are our tips to maintain your eye health despite using eye makeup.

Do not use an eyeliner with sparkles

Even if it is written on the package that the product is safe for the eyes, if an eyeliner contains shiny particles, then you should avoid such a product especially if you wear contact lenses. If micro particles of sparkles fall into your eyes and especially under the lens, they will irritate the cornea throughout the day. Just imagine! Therefore, if you want the effect of sparkles, then select the best blinking liner for the eyes.

Always keep your eye pencil sharpened

Of course it is much easier to draw with a round and soft end of the slate pencil, but the blunt end of a pencil means that you are closer to the tree, and it leads to scratching and irritation. In addition to damage to the cornea and eyelid, even the smallest particles of wood can cause allergic reactions.

How to use a liner in contact lenses

If you wear contact lenses, here is the procedure for using liners. First lens, and then – eyeliner and shadow. And be sure to first remove the lens in the evening, and then remove the makeup from the eyes!

Apply Colored Eyeliner

Many girls steer away from colored eyeliner because they just don’t know how or when to sport it. Colored eyeliner is definitely fun and a change from the standard, boring brown or black shades. Try it out! If you want a dramatic look, go for the red, yellow or orange tones. If you want a slightly less dramatic look, experiment with the cooler shades like purple, green, and blue. The following are MadameDaily’s tips on how to apply colored eyeliner:
  1. First, Powder Up – Apply a translucent powder to lids, which will give your lids a matte finish and prevents the eyeliner from smearing. Do not apply colored eye shadow unless you really want to make a statement. Colored eyeliner is usually just enough!
  2. Upper Lids First; Inside to Outside – Start with the upper lid inside corner to outer corner. Start with a thinner line and go thicker as you wish.
  3. Next, the Lower Lids – Then apply eyeliner under your lower lashes. Again, start inside and move outward. It probably isn’t necessary to re-dip if you are using liquid eyeliner, since the color is potent.
  4. Mascara? Just a Touch -Apply mascara after applying eyeliner. Keep mascara to a minimum.

Colored eyeliner is perfect for the upcoming bright Spring and Summer seasons. Steer away from the black and browns…Colors, here we come!

Apply Eyeliner Makeup

First apply eye shadow, then move on to apply eyeliner

  • A fine, even line of eyeliner should be applied has to be held taut to ensure proper lining of the whole length closest to the lashes.
  • Color of the eyeliner should be same as the the color of the mascara.
  • The line is tapered off while approaching inner and outer corners of the eye.

Tips on apply eyeliner.

  • Use short feathery strokes instead of trying to draw one solid line.
  • Do not apply thick eyeliner to small or close-set eyes.
  • Do not over blend, spilling your eyeliner onto the skin under the lower lashes; that makes dark circles look worse.
